The Assessment will:
- Establish metric performance benchmarks which will provide your organization with the opportunity to begin to continuously measure and improve the implementation and operation of vendor applications
- Review and validate the effectiveness of the project structure and organization of the project
- Project Management
- Project Organization and Staffing
- Project Governance
- Identify the areas where the project and organization require strengthening
- Evaluate at a high level the status and performance of the project team, with specific focus on evaluation of:
- Test scripts and test processes, including evaluation of process for testing interfaces and integration
- Project documentation and documentation standards
- Project internal controls, including status reports, build audit reports, and other status and readiness metrics
- Project team organization, and roles and responsibilities, including separation of duties
- Production change control process
- Software enhancement/change order process, including software customization processes
- Review and validate project direction, timing, schedule and scope
- Evaluate project timeline and budget and identify any barriers/risks/project scope “creep”.
- Validate the execution and deliverables of the project based on knowledge of similar projects in the industry
- Identify risks such as workflow implications and fluctuations of timelines for projects directly affecting the project.
- Review and validate project decision-making processes, and engagement of operational resources and governance and their integration with the project team.
