Newsflash: TEFCA Anticipated to be LIVE in 2022!

This week, Micky Tripathi (National Coordinator for Health Information Technology) and Mariann Yeager (CEO of the Sequoia Project, the TEFCA-Recognized Coordinating Entity) announced that they anticipate the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) will be available in Q1 2022.
This is welcome news, as TEFCA has been in development since the 21st Century Cures Act was signed in 2016, with the overall goal of TEFCA being to establish a “floor of universal interoperability” across the country, according to Tripathi.
